Two Scenario Writers from Virginia won first place in their respective divisions in the Scenario Writing Team competition at this year’s International Conference. Tahi Wiggins from Northumberland High School in Northumberland County competed with the winning Senior Division team, and Victoria King from Peasley Middle School in Gloucester County with the winning Middle Division team. Tahi’s coach is Leah Fisher. Victoria is coached LeeAnn VanVranken and Diana Chapman. The Scenario Writing Team competition is a spontaneous creative writing tournament that unites Scenario Writing winners from around the world into a team whose members have never met before the competition. Writers from Virginia, Kentucky, and New Jersey formed the Senior Division team. The Middle Division team was made up of representatives from Virginia, Australia, and West Virginia. | ||
